OK, I will be the first one to say it--cypressgirl, I am so completely jealous of you! How do you get to go so much?? Lucky, lucky you! :D

It is really a fluke that I'm going twice in 3 weeks. It is really kind of silly, but it's how things worked out. I'm sure in the future I will not be doing this. Usually one or two weeks spread over the year is my norm. Of course with SOTB, that throws in one more.

Kudos to Pia!! There's more then one reason to take her up on her offer. In addition to having a place to keep the booze, you might make a friend for life! We've got friends in Coral Bay that, if we have a big bunch of leftovers, we always give it to them. Once a couple that we went down with left a couple of days before us. They had gotten into Gosling Rum and ginger beer "dark and stormy's". They left an almost full bottle of Gosling Black Seal.We left the rum, beer and food with our friends. They are still cussin' us because they'd never had Gosling before, and they developed a love for it. Problem is, it's way more expensive then cruzan. BTW- Donna at Shipwreck serves the best Dark & Stormy.

Hey Cypress ~ why don't you just save the money and cancel your two round trip tickets for one round trip and stay the extra week in between!!! No flying back and forth, no worries about the booze, no worries period  With what you save on the ticket you can certainly find a place to stay during the summer months!

XOXO

Hi cypressgirl,

I just saw your posting and see Pia's very kind offer. If you need a back up baby sitter for your liquor, we will be more than happy to help, as we'll be there during both of your stays! Just please remember during the heat of the summer there is often an evaporation factor that needs to be considered.

I realize how stupid it seems to make 2 trips so close together. The first one was booked months ago, and then the college girls begged to go back before school starts. If I wern't using ff miles, I'd stay for sure, but I do have obligations at home, and a committment that forces me to come home that week. Besides, when I take that first walk of woe, I know I'll be back in 7 days. :D

I placed my order with John at Mixology today. What a sweetheart. I don't really think I over ordered, in fact, I may be visiting him again during the week. One of my friends wants Tecate (sp) and Dr. Pepper. He told me he has never seen Tecate in the islands and that I may have to go to STT for Dr. Pepper. I think she'll be drinking something else. Does anyone know of a similar beer that is available on STJ? I just drink Coors Lite if I drink beer at all, so I'm not up on all exotic beers.

I hope to meet up with Pia at the Beach Bar on the 29th. I know X and Kirk are planning on being there. Anyone else???????? Maybe Ruth can join us.

I forgot to thank Beachluvers for their "kind" offer. Can you make it to the BB??

Someone mentioned somewhere about meeting up around 4:30. Is that when the jazz starts?? I may be a little later than that, depending on how motivated I can get my group. I may leave them behind if their island time kicks into high gear or I can't get them off the beach quite that early.
