I can certainly understand that folks are on a budget and looking for the best prices. For me, however, I just can't stomach driving an hour and a half or two hours to an airport to save a few hundred (or more) dollars. And its even worse on the return trip! I'm still basking in the glow of STJ and don't want to lose the buzz with a long drive after a long day of flying. So, when I start saving for my trip (months in advance) I plan on having to save extra dollars in case I can't get a great price. Its worth it to me to avoid the angst worrying over cost, how many stops, if I'll make the 3 o'clock ferry, etc. I realize not everyone can do this; No disrespect or criticism meant.

I get it Chris. Our original plan was to go to 9/11 the day before we left for STT. That fell through because of the white knuckle drive up to NY.

No, we'll never go out of JFK again. By the time we paid for the hotel and the parking it was a wash.
