I won't explain my methods, but will admit to being a ruthless last minute bidder for auctions. That said, you can have the Westin prize next year

Sounds like you're more of a Caneel/Villa person anyway. I own a timeshare at the Westin and like to pick up some extra days as trip extenders. I like the Westin, it's a good home base.
Liking the trip report. I will admit that the sushi lunch at Caneel is a nice treat after a day visiting there.
