as always love your reports, I wondered about that late night layover in PR. So the lack of sleep does not make up the plus of getting on island earlier?

In my opinion, no it does not. You get to the island early, but you can't get into your villa in the afternoon, so what do you do with your stuff? That's why we went to Caneel. We could have brought everything to Connections but they close at 1:30 in the summer on Saturdays, and villa check in is typically 3PM. And honestly, we were just all so tired. I think next year we will plan to take Friday off from work and come in on the morning flight, arriving mid-late afternoon, so we can go straight to the villa.

And haha on that picture. I am happy to report that the wig I am wearing in that photo has now been relegated to the back of the closet until I can get over to Dana Farber to donate it, and my eyebrows have grown back too
