Hi gmanka....If you don't mind me asking...saw you said you have the TG-3 by Olympus. How did you manage to get it so soon?? This is the camera that my hubby wants to purchase for our June trip this year. Everything he is reading says it is not available for purchase and shipment until sometime in June. :(

Would appreciate any info you can help with !!! :)

I decided to go with the Rollei S-50 after playing around with one. I've used Rollei cameras in the past and always been happy with them. Plus, it's basically the same camera as the gopro, but the LCD screen is built in, it comes with a lot more of the accessories and it's compatible with the gopro accessories as well.

It showed up today and we've been playing with it. My daughter is excited to use the head mount and wear it while parasailing in St John this August.

Wondering if you gopro people use the anti fog pads in your housing while using it on St John. Seems like maybe you only need them in colder weather?

Can anyone tell me how long the GoPro battery lasts? Just curious.
What file format are the HD movies in?

The battery will last approx. 2 hrs of continues use , that's why it's good to have a back-up battery.
