For us it is a magical place where you don't stress about tomorrow. It is a place that your most pressing plans involve what beach will we go to and which swimsuit you should wear. It is a place where you see adults become kids again and just enjoy the moment. It is the place that I can see God's handiwork on display everywhere I look.

It is the place we start planning on how to get back to before the ferry departs for STT. It is where we will be again in less than a month... :D

After around 24 years of visiting st. john (when our close friends sailed down from virginia and never came back) it hasen't lost it's magic. We've always gone during the winter and standing on the top of those stairs exitting the plane ---that sweep of thick warm tropical air always jerks a grin on my face!!Bought a lot down in coral bay years ago and built a little platform on it during our last trip. Those stars at night!! Wow!! Yep---Peacefull summs itup for us. Love to build there before we get too old..

I left SJ 6 months ago for a 2 month trip back to the states. I really miss the culture of SJ. The thing I miss most is walking down the street and greeting and being greeted with a friendly "Good Day". If I do this in the states I get stared at and folks quickly advert their eyes lest I mug them.

Yes, I love the beaches but it is the people I miss most.

I'll be coming home in two weeks. YEAH!
