It is 11PM here on St John, verl light warm breeze high on the south shore. Not nearly as windy tonight as it was all day. Last I'veheard, tomorrow promises intermittent clouds and sun, breezy, with some heavy rain squalls. Bring the umbrella or wear the bathing suit.

Thanks Knolmom and Tropic for the weather report. It doesn't sound much different than usual - a little rain, a little sun, a little wind, a little cloud. This time tomorrow I'll be on St John! Wow, it doesn't seem real!!

Where are you flying in from dreamshark? I notice some of the airlines requesting passengers scheduled on Wednesday to rebook on Thursday for no charge?
We are coming in on Thursday, also with a layover in Miami and I am getting nervous!

Thanks for the updates here and the links to other resources - I will work them into our page ASAP. In the middle of the Berkshires house hunting at the moment!

Also seeing that as of the 5 AM update from the NHC that Chantal has moved west rapidly overnight and is not well organized at all - they can't find a central circulation and it may be downgraded to a wave... so this event seems pretty much over as far as the VI is concerned!

We didn't get any rain at all here. It's overcast right now and very hazy.

Here on St. John we experienced no Chantal, no rain, no problem. Another great day in paradise. Ignore the weather forecasts which say 70% chance of rain. What a joke. Not even thick cloud cover, sun is peeking out.
