OK, Rick, so it took you 15 minutes to get a drink at Aqua Bistro,eh? Good Christ, Man, What did you do to pi$$ them off? Heck the last couple of weeks that we were there they were puttin' em up on the bar as we got outta the car! [Though servers do come and go.] Island Blues has always been quick to get your order, especially Kenny and Jeannie.

Aqua Bistro was packed and the regulars were complaining. Jeanie was working the first couple of days we were there then she headed to New Orleans for Jazz Fest. There was a Kenny we met at the bar on Karaoke night that lived across the street, but he wasn't working, good guy.

Aw, R.G. I was just raggin' on you cause I was jealous. Shoot, I'd rather wait for 15 minutes for a drink at Aqua Bistro then to wait 2 minutes for one in D.C.! Sounds as if all in all you had a great time.
I'm curious as to your general take as to staying on one side versus the other.

We dig the slower Coral Bay pace, the morning light and the moon rises, proximity to the horse stables, East End and the South side. Driving to Cruz Bay and back at night is not a big deal for me - 20mph on the wrong side of the road, no problem... parking anywhere I bloody want. The people are also more interesting in Coral Bay.
The West End has its good points, but they are all about proximity to a busier place.
When I'm on island with my immediate family its going to be the East End - Coral Bay. When its with a group of adults who are looking for activities its going to be the West End - Chocolate Hole. Though, if Jorge invites me to Coco de Mer in Peter Bay I might give that a try!
By the way, where can you get a good drink in Seneca?
Cheers, RickG

Hi dee ho neighbor. Good stuff. Keep it coming. Had a similar deal at Fish Trap. Really turned us off by the attitude of the host. He treated us as if he was doing us a favor by seating us. We had reservations by the way. Food didn't lite us up either. Won't go back anytime soon till I see better reviews. See you brought the warm weather back with you!...God bless...Bill

Rick, I had that soy glaze at the Fish Trap and felt the same way as you. It totally overpowered the fish. Boo.
Thanks for the reports and pictures! Keep it up!

Rick, if you were in Seneca, had no alcohol with you, you would have to travel further then from Coral Bay to Crux Bay to buy a drink. However, if that were to ever happen to you, don't worry.... you know somebody. Sometimes the drinks are here, at JT & BT's Seneca Bar an' Grill. Sometimes we're "at the shop." Quite often we are on a Gator ride, with a trailer being pulled behind it. On the trailer are several adults, of various ages and income levels, going through a labyrinth of trails through the woods, with a full cooler of various libations, and we always have somebody will say, "I'll bet they ain't doing this in Russia"
This is the "Gator"

Flipper, that's one of our hobbies. The pic is from the 2006 World Championship Punkin' Chunkin' Festival. Both cannons that you see were built by close friends of mine. For lack of a better description, it's Jerry Garcia meets Nascar.

Flip Flop, those two cannons have each shot pumpkins, in competition, around 3800 ft. The one on the left shoots any thing 10 inches and under that will fit in the breech to go through the barrel. A ten pin bowling bowl will go over 5000 feet; i.e. almost a mile. They are all air powered.
