I'm so glad there are other "wine people" on this forum! I've been having the same thoughts about being able to find decent, not-overpriced wine when we're down in St. John next month. Everyone seems to think Mixology is a great place to stock up on booze, other beverages, water, etc. I just wish they had an online database of wines they carry at the store.

We always used to carry-on six bottles of wine on our trips here because of the difficulty in buying good wines on the island. But those days are over. I'd be a little concerned about checking wine on a trip this long, becayuse they may wind up sitting on a tarmac for too long.
I hate to say it, but this might be a good reason to wander over to St. Thomas for a half day. Some of the bigger stores have a better selection of wines and spirits.
