Drove by Island Blues today, and it looked closed. Like, not for the day, but CLOSED closed, of course I didn't slow down much, so maybe I misjudged it.
I'll throw out another vote for Aqua Bistro - the Friday Ponzu tuna is to die for, but I enjoyed the down island grouper very much as well. Sherry had the buffalo grouper sandwich, and although I don't usually care for "buffalo" flavor, it was really good. I also think they have the best conch fritters on the island.
We stopped at pink corner today for some homemade soursop ice cream - very yummy!

I am lovin all these wonderful pictures, and suggestions for good places.
Keep them coming.
We will be there for our 40th Anniversary in July, and would love to hear any suggestions on good romantic places to dine. It doesn't have to be fancy or "fine" dinning.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Concordia Cafe! Great food there too and a nice view! I think they have a Sunday Brunch also. They post on Facebook a lot! Island Blues used to be our "go to" place because their menu was simple, yet diverse and they had a daily special. All that changed with the new owner and it has gone downhill in my opinion. It's not the same "neighborhood" place it used to be.

Ponzu Tuna - Aqua Bistro -Friday nights - Truly amazing...I am not a foodie, and am perfectly happy eating a sandwich, but this was an incredible meal.
Not a good picture, but the best I have.

Ditto for Donkey Diner's stuffed french toast and pizza. YUM on both accounts!
Also ditto on the Down Island Grouper from Aqua Bistro, as well as their conch fritters.
MUST visit Miss Lucy's this trip. Everything there looks fantastic!!!!

This was my dinner tonight
And I was wrong about Island Blues - drove by tonight and it was doing quite a business. Can't attest for the food there (I just can't avoid Aqua Bistro if I'm right there!), but it is still in business.

Thanks soooo much ! Great feedback and so many things that look so good!! Aqua Bistro is def. gonna be on the list as well as Miss Lucy's. I often hear about a Sunday brunch there...can you tell me more about that? Is there a certain time a person should get there to be sure they get somewhere to sit and something to eat? Donkey Diner is also gonna be a must for French Toast and a day for Pizzas. I know Shipwreck will be once if not twice on the list ! Think Hubby is gonna have one of those Lobster Rolls at Tourist Trap....me ....the Nachos.
Keep it coming

This food thread is making me wish our trip was this April 10th and not next year's! I am getting so hungry!!
Liamsaunt,
I had a Bushwacker at Shipwreck that looked just like the drink (shake) that you posted. Maybe you ordered one of those as well?
