I think we were at the Quiet Mon that night trying to catch up with Kelly. I really hope we can meet up again next time. I'd love to join you both for a snorkel. Denny will be happy to watch all our stuff on the beach. And guard the cooler

Hey Augie - I must admit I teared up a bit reading the last thoughts on the report.
You are so right.... and although it may feel a bit unsettling to make this big decision, you can always change your mind.... but the "what if's" will haunt you for the rest of your life.

I moved to the U.S. from the other side of the globe over 20 years ago... fighting off uncertainty and my family’s sentiment that I was out of my mind. Now I can't imagine what it would’ve been like if I had decided NOT to. It may not be the same for you & Leslie moving to St. John but I understand it is an exciting though nervous step. I wish you both all the best in your new adventure! Someday I will sneak up and tap you on the shoulder on St. John.

By the way, thanks for the treat of the eel photo. Always happy to see that creature. Glad your patience paid off!

I love the Mark Twain quote and so true. Kinda like the 'Rocking Chair' test of imagining your life 30 years from now as you rock back and forth on the porch wishing you had it all to do over again and feeling the pain for not doing something you were afraid of attempting.
