We have rented from them for the past two years and several times a few years ago and always had excellent service. However I fa I faxed my request in the summer-low season- call a few weeks later to see if they got it and I usually call in October again for a February vacation. I've never gotten an e-mail. It usually takes at least a month but then the deposit appears on my credit card statement. Once when they didn't have a second jeep for me I got a call back a few weeks later from Cynthia telling me they had the jeep. If you are calling between Dec and April they are probably very busy. If you bring your credit card statement that should be proof enough- I doubt that you will need it.

Anybody rent from the Thrifty in STT? They are a couple mins from airport. I just reserved a Jeep there online but the reservation doesn't specify whether it's a 2 door or 4 door. So, I called and she said that they only have 4 doors which is what we need. Just wanted to check if anybody dealt with them and had any issues. Thanks again!!

Wow, you all are very patient. I am too paranoid to leave things to chance or hanging in the balance. I have rented with Varlack for the last several trips. I am always so happy with their laid back, pleasant attitude and willingness to help. This trip when we arrived one evening to park on the sidewalk, it was full. When went inside to ask and the lady said no problem, just leave it across the street and I will move all these cars around to get it over here. When returning this year I had a hard time to get ALL of the sand out, and was told no worries it is fine. No extra charges, no worries, and I never get the impression that I am a bother to them.

Just want everyone to know that St. John Car Rental came through with a confirmation.
It is nice to have it for reference and when I go pick up the cars. It has always been a
great place to rent jeeps.
