Thanks for the great trip report! Sounds like you and your family had a wonderful time. Your photos have me really looking forward to my next visit--two weeks from today!

As I sit here a little grumpy today, your report not only brought me out of my bad mood but reminded why St John always is in my heart!! Thank you for such a wonderful report with great pictures!! I agree Capt John is the best!

Nice! Ahh... Xmas week in the islands! Must make it hard to miss any of the "traditions" back home.
Some great shots, esp that one of Ram Head with the cactus in the foreground = IMO one of the better RH shots ever posted here.

Great trip report with beautiful pics, it's funny to see "waves" in some of the pictures. You are so lucky to bring your parents with you to!

can't wait to drink it all in.

You are going to have so much fun! If you're looking to "drink" it all in, make sure you stop for a Bushwacker (or several!) at the Beach Bar. They are delish!!

That second pic of the donkeys you posted is awesome! I also loved the baracuda pic, hopefully we'll see one this time around!
I'm going with the wife and 4 friends. Anything you think we MUST do? (Capt. John is already reserved!)
Definitely stop at Pirate's for a few drinks when you're out with Captain John. It's the only thing on Norman Island and it has a very relaxed but spirited atmosphere. And the view is simply stunning.

Please tell me more about Pirates. We have Capt John booked for our upcoming trip (30 days!) and are looking to do different stops than in the past.
We really enjoyed the trips with my mom and her husband. They have since fallen for another island so it might be a while until we all get back together on STJ. I have very fond memories of travelling with my family as a teen and your trip report brought those back to me. Thank you!
