If you've flown out of MSP to most Caribbean destinations, you know that if you don't leave very early morning, you miss connecting flights so you're typically up at some awful hour to get to the airport regardless. . LOL
On the other hand, if it's the only way you could possibly afford the trip, it might be worth it. It's nice to have options.
Not sure if it matters or not...but its actually Ft Lauderdale Airport...instead of Miami..but either way..would still be the same amount of time..however something I had thought about earlier...what about flying into San Juan instead of Ft Lauderdale/Mia..and going on to STT from there...I wonder if the time of layover would be different ? You could probably catch a Cape Air flight fair reasonable with what you have saved on the flight to get there..might be worth checking on..and im sure it would be great to fly over the islands so close..I so enjoy the pics from the smaller planes...
