Connie,
You and your family have been given quite a lot to deal with at once. Your daughter seems to be the one that needs the most support now. I only hope you have friends to reach out to to help you through all this. Sometimes it is hard to ask but friends will step in as long as you reach out!

Mom is doing good. The chosen one went over tonight, gave her dinner and made sure she was in bed. Gave me a be break because husband is going away for work for a week.

Daughters boyfriend is still very I'll. He has no family (long story)' so daughter has some decisions to make. He is still on a ventilator and bleeding internally. They will not do exploratory surgery right now because of his condition.

Thank you for all of your support through this. Daughter has asked for prayers. She just doesn't know that I have asked all of you for them.

Connie,

My dear Mom went to be with the Lord this morning. She passed suddenly and peacefully in her sleep. We think it was a blood clot.

She still knew us but was losing ground to the dementia. She had flashes of her old self at times. When her nephew asked her last week how she was doing, she said "Well, I'm half dead Larry, but the half of me that is alive won't give up".

She was 91. I wish you well with the care of your beloved Mother.

I went to see the boyfriend last night in ICU. There is no improvement. I just talked to him, held his hand and rubbed his arm. He's hooked up to everything and it really hit me bad.

We got back from burying Mom this evening. The service was handled by family and was very touching. Most of her many (30) nieces and nephews attended, and each thought they were her favorite. She had that way about her. She had a good life, a rich life. She was loved.

Connie,
I cannot imagine what you are going through with that young man. With no family to care for him, it is truly sad. I will pray for a miracle.

Mom is doing well.

They are removing life support from boyfriend tonight. All of his organs are failing and there is nothing they can do for him.

Prayers are needed again. We're all a mess.
