Two years ago we did the same thing in Grand Cayman. I thought my husband would be more hesitant then me, but turns out he had no problem with the sting rays.

We've also done the Sting Ray City thing in Cayman. But those Rays are use to human interaction, and being fed by humans. They have become accustom and expectant of it.

My only hope is that over-eager and zealous tourists don't scare him off..or worse...hurt him even accidently.

I believe it's still best to only look and not touch him. He is a wild creature...and we being fortunate to enter his world should always respect it.

Well my husband and i believe not to touch any wild animals or par take in any dolphin swimming actvities... BUT the sting ray city is a natural event and if the sting rays swim into your arms at free will so be it. We had a great time and no one was effected. It was a once in a lifetime experience. And maybe someday you can too :)
