So glad he made the trip safely and is in good hands back home. This whole thing brings back horrible flash backs to me, of what we just went through with my father.
Thinking of you and your entire family.

I'm so glad he's home, and pray that he can stay strong. Praying for strength for all of you, as well!

I like to bring closure to this post the belief is my father-in-law has Drug-induced immune hemolytic anemia brought on by the antibiotic utilized for his pneumonia or the extra dose of blood thinner given him. He's been in the hospital since my wife brought him back last Saturday, and he continues to be problematic in his recovery. My wife thanks you for your kind wishes and thoughts.
The lesson I learned from this is if in doubt if at all possible bring your loved one home by airplane as soon as possible. Because if nothing else, they are more comfortable and reassured being closer to home.

My first thought is how grateful you must be that you were able to bring him home when he was ill. So sorry for your loss though.
