Have you guys done the Annaberg ruins? Pete and I did that a few years ago and found ourselves enjoying them more than we thought we would. Kinda over there in that neck 'o the woods...

Have you ever tried stand up paddleboarding? (SUP). That was on my list (also trying some firsts this year) but the day we were going to go it was too choppy so we kayaked instead. You can rent SUPs at Cinnamon and Maho, as well as through Arawak. If I had to pick just one thing, that would be it.
Other things I'd pick if SUP wasn't a go:
Another vote for Tourist Trap -- love the lobster rolls.
The Drunk Bay trail is easy and short, and Drunk Bay is just so cool and different. (However I read earlier that you're not a Salt Pond Bay fan so maybe that's out.)
Ever done a massage at the villa? Private chef?

*Response copied from another topic post: "Angel's Rest is basically a floating "bar". Pete usually heads out to Vie's and is a short swim away. If necessary, he will pull in as far as possible for you to board. He usually posts his whereabouts each day on facebook but can be reached at 340-514-6270 to find out. He also does sunset charters, etc. I've enjoyed a few libations on board for a different experience. You will find him in coral bay at night."

I see by your amount of post that you have been to STJ many times. I'm not trying to be rude but maybe you should just try to enjoy Paris. I've been there more times than I care to remember and it's not all that. I'm not sure what you are aksing as i'm sure you have done all that we have all done on island. If you want to try something different, then try a night kayak with lights, that is really a good time. But i'm not sure that is what you are asking here? If you want a really fun vacaction then stay with St.John, it does not smell like the med does and the drinks are much better. (unless you are a total wine drinker)

I am confused by your post, but that happens easily! In one month I will be on STJ and I was looking for suggestions for things that I have never done, and there are plenty. I already have a great list and I am looking forward to trying a few new things as it looks like we will not visit in 2013.
As you can see from the responses, folks have been great with suggestions.
After 5 years of living on STJ and 10 years visiting at least once a year, we have decided to take a break and visit Paris next year with my best friend that was born there. I am confident that it will be different than STJ, in fact, it better be!

The easiest hike is the Cinnamon Bay Nature Trail, but not the Cinnamon Bay Trail. We do this hike every time and love it. Brown Bay is easy, but this one is easier. The Reef Bay hike is not bad if you do it with the park and get a ride back to town on the boat. Catherineburg ruins are pretty cool. Have fun!

Have you done Miss Lucy's for Brunch or Lunch? We did it the first time last trip - it was quite good.
I'm not a Salt Pond person, but if you're there, the Drunk Bay hike is quite easy. The hike is easier than the path down.

These are all awesome! I wish I had a longer trip to fit them all in.
We have done a few of the things that people have suggested; Miss Lucy's, Drunk Bay, Tourist Trap. Chip has done Reef bay, I really don't have any desire.
I always say that every year I am going to hike and I never do, so I am not going to bother adding it to the list
It is just around the corner! Can't wait!

My first thoughts were smart ass - sobriety, etc.
There's a couple of things we especially like to over Coral Bay side:
- Johnny Horn trail ride with Carolina Corral for my daughters (Christine got saddle sore and, well, grumpy)
- Josephine's
- Sloop Jones
- Grootpan and Kiddel Bays
- Concordia Cafe
- Shipwreck Landing (usually twice in a week)
- Tourist Trap
- Dodge deer at night
- Early AM goat rodeo past the villa
- Donkey love serenade
- Sheep tails down
- Hermit crab wrangling on the path to Haulover North
- Liquid cocaine shots at Island Blues
Cheers, RickG

When we were there a couple of years ago we enjoyed happy hour at Cafe Concordia, cheap drinks, awesome views and friendly people.
