Those are the best photos yet of the Manta. Until now, I had not seen a photo that was clear enough to confirm that it is a Manta. That's it. Your photo could go in one of those ID books.

So fun! I have a trip planned for the beginning of April and did not rent a car. If I hear that he/she is still at Francis, I will rent a car one day just to join in on this "Manta Mania".

What a great story, and amazing pics! This manta mania just keeps getting better and better, with people at first questioning whether it even was a manta, and now all these stunning photos. I hope, hope, hope he sticks around til our trip!

Fantastic pictures! I've never seen a manta ray when snorkeling; bet that was a really cool experience.
Love the spotted ray pictures too. They are so graceful when they swim, just mesmerizing.

I'm thinking maybe 7'-8', it was hard to judge in all the craziness, plus there was nothing underneath it as a frame of reference. It was big for sure!
