From what I have been able to find out from my friend on island the accident happened 2 yrs ago
Their insurance couldn't cover the cost of a lawsuit they lost --- someone fell off the balcony and us paralyzed.
Other side of story says they didn't have any insurance; couldn't get insurance after they lost the lawsuit; or just ran out if money.
Evan, the former chef at asolare, refused to leave with his friends and kept drinking and was the victim. His divorced parents were going bankrupt trying to care for him because he had no health insurance.

From what I have heard thsi evening from people on island, it is all rumors that QMP is closing.,
If KC knows about this, I doubt he would do anything anyway. The island will rally around and do what they can, that is the beauty of stj.
