Now that's a pizza! There are some places that ship ready-to-cook deep dish 'zas. Not so cheap though with the shipping.

The other thing I thought of immediately wouldn't ship so well, Chicago style dogs. Best eaten on a sunny day at Wrigley field, with a beer on the side:

katie...you folks in chicago (and we mean no disrespect) have got your pizza mixed up with wedges, or lasagna.... just, saying' and as for dogs.....(and, i seriously have no right to speak of this, being a veg for 32 yrs...) but REALLY? youse gonna put a CHi town dog against a NY dog? (though i will admit, i would prefer sitting in a chicago ball field--unless i was in my hometown fenway.....) and Ron, don't forget --katie can bring Rick Bayless to the table........

In Panama City we have Shrimp,boiled, fried, grilled or sauted...Grouper/Red Fish/yellow fin tuna etc. ...grilled or fried... fried pickles from most little hole in the wall fish houses, and of course Appalachicola Oysters...raw, baked or fried (for those who like oysters). My personal favorite is fried grouper throats! All a little tough to ship...but come on down we have a fish house just a few blocks away and Capn. Dan Does a great job with most things that swim in salt water!

How about some Rocky Mountain Oysters? Yum!

We have great Colorado Lamb, except we ship it out of state so much that it's hard to find here in Colorado!

Our western slope is growing some pretty good grapes and has a pretty good wine area in Palisades. The fall wine festival is really fun.

I am an Eastern NC native. We have one popular food theme and one not so well known favorite.

Eastern NC BBQ is the subject of many BBQ tests. Many opinions about it and competing styles. Eastern NC BBQ has its roots back to early colonial days when slaves made it because it was an inexpensive meat and wild hogs could be found here.

There there are collards. Collards are a green leafy vegetable grown in the cool temps of the fall. Cooked in water with ham hocks (or some other pork for seasoning) for over an hour. Served with corn bread, you have a good meal!

Honny Hush! If you live in the South you know about collards in fat meat! And you are so right about the BBQ it is different in every state or even regions of states. Ya know that variety is the spice of life! :D :D :D

What's funny is that I had to buy a 55gal drum of 200% (i.e. no water vapor)cost was $22 a gal however tax $33 a gallon
