Maybe that car in CT was me. Where were you? I always have a STJ sticker on my car. Love to see people with STJ gear on that I can relate to, always get a positive response. I'm high maintenance too! Spend time getting the whole thing done! Hate the waxing but with a tan it looks awful to see dark hair. Guys butt out this is a "woman" thing.

I highlight, low light and in between touch up the grey roots!

Hubby says he wishes I would go grey. I think it is because he is bald.

Just kidding. He is 5 years older than I am but looks 7 years younger!
I don't do much makeup, mostly just eyeliner and mascara. If I am getting dressed up or having a really rough morning I will put a litle base under the eyes but not usually. I like to be relativly low maintenance. On island I let my hair curl but at home I usually straighten it. It gets crazy and out of contro fast if it is curly and I have dry hair that doesn't like to be washed too often. On island I try to put extra conditioners on it while I am drying off in the sun to get that concentrated moisture! It makes it really nice! Biodegradeable is key here!
I am waiting to be able to order the koozie before I place my order for the atlas and the bumper stickers. We each want the stickers for our cars!

The disease is spreading - I work in the Princeton NJ area and was behind a big 'ole pick up truck the other day that had a STJ sticker on the left side of their rear window and a USVI sticker on the right side. This was just last Thursday or Friday....too funny! I have NEVER seen another one except for my friend's who we went to St. John with on our first trip!

I ordered a STJ sticker for my car from here, and then when I got it my husband didn't want me to put it on!

So I taped it up on the inside window -that was acceptable
I wish somebody in my area would see it, recognize it, and talk to me about STJ-I'd love to find other people from out here who've been and share my passion for the island!
So if you're in western NY, see a metallic blue impala SS driving around with a sticker in the back window-shout out a big hello and we'll share stories

LOL Ron! Your wife sounds like me. I've never put any stickers on my car cause I think it's tacky. But guess what I have in the middle my rear window? STJ big and bold for the whole world to see. Honey has a collection on his. Soggy Dollar, the petroglyph symbol, etc. But St. John is the only one to ever have the honor on my ride!
bugblu, I think the shins hurt worst out of EVERYTHING! It's like 100 bee stings all at once. Here's a tip. I actually like to go before a Caribbean trip. I think about the beach when she's ripping. Makes it hurt so good!

We have STJ stickers on both of our cars and people ask me all the time what it stands for. I just say it is this place we like to go and leave it at that!

Yep - I too have that sticker - it goes really well with my license plate which says "STJ LVRS"! Now I ordered the forum shirt and the koozie comes with it. I think I'm set!

I bought the sticker too. I didn't want to "stick it" with the adhesive on my car so I bought an 8.5" x 11" sheet of magnet from my craft store, cut it to fit the sticker and stuck the sticker to the magnet! Now when I approach my car from the grocery store or Target, I see my STJ magnet/sticker and it always brings back warm memories.
I just have to remember to remove the magnet before a carwash or it falls off.

Speaking of STJ bumper stickers...
Have I gone too far?
My husband thinks I have the fever...??? No?

What a great idea! Mind if I steal it?

JC - Not obsessive just hard core & we like that here! Very cute. I'll put things of 2 natures on my car - my alma mater & my STJ. Oh ... and I have the personalized plate (easy and cheap in VA) referencing STJ. The vast majority of people don't get it but I can see the glint in the eye of those who do!
