Love it! We leave on a Mon and his birthday is the following Friday. I will have to give him a little notice so he can help me get ready for the trip (mowing our huge yard, getting supplies for all the pets), but I want it to get as close as possible. I am getting so excited and seems like the next 46 days will take forever.

For his actual birthday, I booked a private romantic beach dinner at Little Dix.

I turn the big 4-0 next year.....afraid of what he will plan. WIll probably be order in pizza and watch a NASCAR race.

Or it could be him naked with a snorkel on

I got another idea today. Since this is about his 40th birthday, how about using "A Pirate's Look At 40."

I planned a surprise 37th birthday trip to Cabo for my hubby. He was in need of some things before the trip, so I bought them and packed his suitcase with his new things, plus a creative card I made him, and a cd player in the suitcase which was playing Toby Keith's "Good to go to Mexico" when he opened it. He received his gift about 3 days before we left, and loved it. That was before we discovered St. John.
That said, I love 54b's idea!
