All of the beaches are good :)

My family really enjoys Francis. Very easy snorkel with plenty to see near shore on the right. After you get more comfortable, you can keep going down the point for more.

Also, Jumbie is a gem and a fairly easy snorkel. It is an amazingly beautiful beach with plenty of shade. Parking is very limited (hence no crowds) so get there early...by 9am. You can find it as the parking lot just off the road past Trunk (when heading towards Cruz Bay).

We do Trunk on the first day of every trip...your kids might like the snorkel trail...its one of the more popular beaches but its still so beautiful to me...always plenty of parking, they have a grill if ya'll get hungry and you can rent snorkel equipment there...its just tradition for us to visit there on the first day...sentimental reasons...

We find Hawksnest and Maho to be the easiest in terms of getting in and out of the parking area and water. There is lots to see and Hawksnest has some facilities. The turtles and sea stars are very good at Maho.
