It will be obvious that I'm out of the info loop on Grand Bay when I say that we recently rented a unit thru VRBO for July! How does this mess affect those of us who have committed $ to time on beautiful STJ?

I'd like to know that as well. I'm guessing that it has no bearing at all, since we rented from owners that aren't involved in the mess. But the question did cross my mind- we're scheduled to stay there in July as well.

Zoning Violations

Everyone in the government turned away and brushed off the zoning violations. The zoning code tells the government, builders, architects how violations should be corrected. There's no enforcement, no place to turn.

Even the Appeals Board doesn't hear some of the cases and if they don't you can turn to District Court. That means hiring an attorney.

It will not affect your rental, it is only the to be finished units/unsold/Alida-the woman that bailed out Grande Bay whose units are going into time share. You have rented from an owner who is not part of the time share. The time share units have not gone on the market yet, Do Not Worry!!
