Just before leaving for a ten day stay at Moho two years ago our daughter brought us a gift of a small portable blender to bring along. It was great! There are electrical outlets In the tents for the fan, to charge your camera or phone and oh yeah run your portable blender. The blenders are small, lightweight and travel well. While we donated our lucite glassware, extra food and martini shakers to the other tent dwellers, we brought the blender home to use on other camping trips. We travelled with it in our checked luggage. By the way, the size is perfect for two good sized blender drinks.

One of the coolest things I ever saw was on Francis beach one Sunday afternoon. A group of four set up under the trees. The guys hit the water in these awesome floating chairs while the ladies made fresh frozen drinks with a BATTERY OPERATED blender. That group knows how to have fun!

Hmmm...
I was honestly about to go to Pep Boys to buy an ac/dc adaptor for the car lighter for that, but where would one find a battery powered blender?
Gonna' give Target a try...

I have a friend that lives on a sailboat that has a gas powered blender. You start it the same way I used to start my old lawnmower - with a pull cord!

Our surf club members are very creative. Here's a picture of the hand-crank blender from Family Day last August...
