I have just returned from St Thomas. Took the kids and grand-kids. Grand kids liked "the Pool and the fish at Coral World". As an adult I'm not sure I would recommend it as snorkeling would be better for most of you. My 30 something kids most enjoyed, "family time, the day exploring St John, and the day sail on "Treazzure" at sailvirginislands.com.
As for me, I really enjoyed sitting close to the beach reading and listening to the surf. The day sail (6 hours) was also a highlight.

Not that much longer to go. 2nd day there maybe.
