Looks like it will be soft sided cooler and techni sheets. Will have to do some research where to find them as I have never seen them before.
Hmm might think about shipping some things ahead as well... Off to figure out where I would ship it to.. Maybe right to Samuels cottages..??

We stayed at Samuel's cottages last year and we sent 2 flat rate packages to the owner Patrice. The packages were there in the cottage when we arrived. We would definately do this again. We also brought a carry on rolling cooler full of Omaha steaks. It was very easy and everything stayed frozen.

We have the Backpack cooler and usually bring things like cheese and sandwich meats, depending on where we are staying and how many of us are traveling. We have brought chicken, steaks, bacon, sausage, hotdogs and everything has traveled very well and for us its about 12 hrs. from the time we leave til we arrive.
Last time I froze a cpl water bottles and figured what the heck if I have to toss them no big loss. They were still frozen when we went thru security and no problems we went thru with them. They did help to keep things colder longer..Another thing I do is to wrap things in paper towels then in seperate gallon bags. That way, just incase something leaks it doesnt get all over everything else. And the paper towel absorbs some of the condensation.

I have found the best price for PolarBear coolers and Techni Ice is on Amazon.com. I also wrap my frozon items in news paper and put in Ziplock bags. Usually I do not bring meat to any destination, but I really do enjoy the cheaper cut flat iron steak to any other beef steak or the chuckeye. So, that being said, those cuts are coming with along with 4lbs of sea scallops and maybe Mayport shrimp if available. I always bring cheese, brie, blue, colby, gouda, havarti, and a stretchy cheese. Staples I will buy on STT or STJ. Dontcha just love the plan'n? Laura
