I WANNA GO NOW TOO!!!!

My plans for tomorrow are:
1-pedicure
2-tanning session (hate to be glow in the dark white)
3-Barnes and Noble - got to have several good books to read.
4-Pack the bags
5-Grocery shop for 21 year old son we are leaving behind.
Not planning on cooking anything all next week. Going to tell the family I am too keyed up to cook.
6-Post phone numbers on the fridge of where we'll be for the son with instructions to not call unless the house burns down or he ie bleeding!
7-Drink several rum drinks to ease into the island mode gradually. You can't put your liver in shock with massive quantities of alcohol.

Anybody else got weekend plans getting ready for the trip?

My plans for tomorrow are:

1-breakfast for the little one (4yrs old)
2-drive big one to soccer (16 yrs old)
3-take little one and hubby for haircuts
4-dig summer cloths out of storage
5-wash summer cloths I'm planning to take
6-start list for niece of schedules, phone numbers, medical cards, etc.
7-Drink several rum drinks to ease into the island mode gradually. You can't put your liver in shock with massive quantities of alcohol. (stole that from JoAnn - good idea)
8-worry that my list of things to do this week is missing something and go over it 100 more times!

Anybody else got weekend plans getting ready for the trip?

I have also about the same plans as you.

Find summer clothes and wash them. And iron a few?
Buy some new summer clothes as well.
Buy a new bikini (ugh - I hate that when totally aspirin colored)
Try to lose some more pounds - it's 8AM here and I am soon off to spinning class.
Bathing cats and cut their claws since they are going to be at my Mom while we are away.
Tax declaration (not sure if that is a English word - but you know the income and tax you have to report once a year).

And probably more...

See you soon!!!!

Hi everyone

Looks like we are all in packing mode :D but I am in reverse - looking for "warm" clothes as Kansas City is currently 31 degrees with the chance of SNOW  OK, why am I going again - oh shopping, lots and lots of shopping - that will help :D

Hey Michele,

I just checked where Laureldale is and had to laugh at the small world. Our friends coming on this trip, Jason and Erin are in Easton.
They are flying Allentown to Philly to STT.
Our other friends, Bill and Denise, are near Ithaca, NY, and are flying Ithaca to Philly to STT.
They are all on the same flight, #1232, out of Philly, 4/21, at 7:35am arriving in STT at 11:25.
Is this the same flight as you? That would be too funny.

Yep...all on the same flight :D Too funny! It certainly is a small world. You will have to tell them to find me in the airport. Do they want to share the water taxi to get over to STJ? I already have it booked but I can certainly change the number of people and then they won't have to wait for the ferry.

Let me know :D

Cool. If you pm me with the details, cost, etc., I'll see if they're up for it. kathyhenion@aol.com
Sounds like a good idea, especially with no downtown ferry running.
That would be pretty funny, my friends meeting you before I do. 8)

So Rick you figure a Tattoo is in order????
I may go for it, the only problem I have is it will interfear with my tan

Guess I will have to have it put in a place that won't get tanned

BugBlu, we can get matching tattoo's :D

Hey Shopper:

Watch what your asking for ~ you might be shocked when they bring out needles instead of a stick on! I will hold your hand

Well I am 98% packed as well! I just have to add the "island shirts" of my husbands (that will wrinkle easy) at the last minute. Got my nails done tonight. Will work tomorrow, then either help hubby mow grass or go to tanning bed, work Wed until 1:00 (hubby and the other couple aren't working that day :( ), then about 5:00 we'll head to columbus, OH to stay with sis-in-law. Fly out Thurs morning 6:20AM to Newark, to STT and will be there before 1:00 :D

have been drinking rum drinks as well - orange/pineapple juice with coconut rum
