Anyone have any thoughts on The Fig Bistro or The Admiral?
Admiral, from what Yelp and Chowhound are telling me is a funky place with great food. Fig looks "more like a nice restaurant".
If I were to choose one over the other for the official "Happy Birthday" meal, which one?
Or...any other suggestions... I'm leaning towards appetizers from the Red Stag (at our hotel) for arrival night...or finding someplace walkable from the Grand Bohemian.
Tupelo Honey looks good for a breakfast, perhaps on Sunday as we contemplate leaving. I think, assuming it's passable, we'll take the long way home through the Blue Ridge Parkway up to Boone and then cut back across the state to go home.
