Shari so true. Our last trip our 12 year old didn't play in the sand. And sat with US instead of playing with her sister. On our most recent vacation in Hawaii we caught her flat ironing her hair before the beach.

Ah, I would have done that back in the day. I remember ski vacations to NE where I would get up before dawn so I could shower and do full hair and make-up to be ready to hit the slopes. I laugh at 1990 me!
Now I go to STJ and don't dry my hair or do make-up the entire trip.

Yah, in high school I kept a blowdryer in the locker room. My best friend and I would go there and de-frizz our hair every morning before school.

Blow dry the heck out of our dry hair and then put on our hair spray helmet.
Sorry to hijack the thread, Rob; but you'll be writing about this sooner than you imagine.

Schmuppie and I are so looking forward to meeting each other on Saturday.
She's going to wear her Curious George flip-flops.
Should I wear my chicken hat?
Is that too much?

You most definitely need to wear that chicken hat! Afterall, this is a very special visitor!

"Get your backpack. It's time to pack your stuff"
(Gathers crap)
"Can I bring Perfection?"

"Perfection? Are you insane?"
"I could carry it"
(Visions of those damned pieces, especially the 2 S-shapes that always stump you, all over the airport)
"WHAT???"
"I could put it under my seat"
"You may not bring Perfection"
Yup...[/code]

Someday we'll have to get your girl and my girl on island together. I have a feeling it would be good for them and GREAT for us. All those questions to each other instead of us
Though I fear it might be a little like the Janet and Michael Jackson thing ... you never did see them in the same room. lol

The similarities...down to the friggin dates of birth are troubling.
