SJ, Stan Kasten and Mike Rizzo are doing it right, in my opinion, on the way that they are building this team. They're not giving in to a fair amount of pressure to go get free agents to improve right now.Their minor league system was in shambles when they came down here. They are building mostly from within. They are accumulating an impressive stable of young arms. The Harper kid that you are referring to will be switched from being a catcher to right field.
In addition to Strasburg's impressive performance on the field, his calm ,cool handling of the media was pretty refreshing, too. It was also very cool to see the National's Stadium in such a frenzy. DC is not a very friendly city, but last night strangers were talking and high-fiving each other. It was great to see.
