1 part Cruzan Coconut
1 part Cruzan Banana
1 part Cruzan Pineapple
Blender with ice, squeeze of lime on the pour.
Mixers are expensive.

Filled with ice.
Pour the pinapple rum.
Sip slowly.
Go to bed. I would never drink this during the day

Actually, the best way to enjoy any of the flavored Cruzan Rums is to get little shot glasses made of ice (you can get them at Party City, pour a shot of any flavor (coconut is my favorite) into the ice shot glass, and drink it down....mmmmmmmmmm gooooood!
I got the idea from the last JB concert tail gate party. Some people had set up a big block of ice with troughs cut into it, set it up at an angle, and then just put your mouth at the bottom end and pour Cruzan flavored rum at the other end...by the time it gets to your mouth....ICY COLD and DELISH!!
I will look for that guy on the 22nd......

Parrothead friend went to the recent JB concert in Atlanta. He and his wife bought some big strawberries and hollowed out the inside. Then dipped them in chocolate and let it harden. Then filled them with Grand Marnier and re-capped them. Said it worked great. Sounds like it would be good with Cruzan as well.

That's what we call an "ice princess".
Rumor has it that it works with many different distilled spirits.
Back on rum, surfnh - the Appleton Estate, from Jamaica, is also a pretty good rum for doing straight shots.

Interesting story as it pertains to myself and Cruzan Rum. Back in the early 90's I lived on St Croix and became friends and later roommates with the rum "chemist" there. As our relationship and rum affliction grew, I brought up the lack of a spiced rum from the Cruzan rum family. Well, low and behold, soon I was introduced to many batches of non descript bottles only labeled with a Sharpie and a number. I gave her my two cents....and eventually the Cruzan Clipper was born! I am not sure, however, as to my exact contribution, as I moved back to the States before it was distilled in its original recipe and distributed. All I remember is that I never had to buy any rum! All the "test" batches were well received by me and my guests! Anyway...Cruzan Rum Rocks!

Yep, Appleton is a good one, I agree. I recall seeing a rum documentary on Jamaica recently, I think the local drink is the 150 proof stuff primarily, that's what they all like. Ouch!

I just checked my rum cabinet and I have a few to add to the list. Barcelo Imperial from The Dominican Republic. Matsusalem and Zacapa from Guatemala. Pampero from Venezuela. And most important, Zaya. Zaya is now made in Trinidad, but I still have two bottles from their original distillery in Guatemala. Zaya is the most amazing liquor on the planet. Cruzan used to make a 5 year rum called Estate Diamond. It was the best value, period. When I found out they were stopping production, I cleaned out the North Eastern United States. Twenty three beautiful bottles. Yep, 23!
