We almost always fly Delta since ATL is our home airport. My experience each time has been that the STT flight that departs around 10AM goes out of Concourse A. In general, Delta flights come in at either Concourse A or B, and sometimes T (which is beside A). Confused yet? At any rate, it's not like your going to have to hoof it through 5 concourses. You should be good with a lot less time than 1:45.

We've flown through Miami on American and Charlotte on UxSAir. The Delta flight is by far the best to us. We fly out of Memphis so there is not a nonstop flight. We have always arrived on the 1:30-2:00 flight. This time we are getting in earlier.
Delta flight 661 leaves Atlanta on June 19th at 8:45 and arrives at 12:38 pm. On our return flight we have 1 hour and 35 min between the Atlanta / memo his flight. We've cut it much closer than this before and still made it fine. We never seem to leave STT on time but always make our connection.

I'm booked on that flight also for June 8th. For those of you that have taken that flight recently, do you recall if the aircraft has Delta on Demand (personal video in the seats)? I know some 757's in the fleet have it and some don't....just curious.

Just have a a few not too nice words about Delta. First they cancelled my daughters early morning honeymoon flight from Richmond to JFK. They put her on a flight 6 hours later..no way to make the connection. She did get notified & it took 4 hours on the phone to get a reasonable solution. A week later they cancelled my neices 8AM flight ( no notice at all) and the only other flight was 7:00 PM...missed the rehersal dinner etc. Not found of Delta at this moment

This is the flight that we always take. It's the earliest possible arrival time for us (from Lexington), therefore, my first choice. Unfortunately for us, it's usually 600+pp. I think our layover is usually around an hour. I don't think you should have a problem making your connection at all, and you'll love the early arrival time!

I'd be pissed too, that's awful especially for her wedding, we had a similar problem with USAir.

That sounds like a great connection and a good arrival time. I could not find anything good like that for July. IF your first flight is late though, then you may have a problem. That happened to me once, I ran and I made it.

That's the best part Jim. I love getting there as early as possible to maximize beach time and still having a later flight available if we need it! My sons heading up your way for school in August!

In the South we joke that you can't get to Heaven without going through Atlanta. That is plenty of time to maneuver an ATL connection. We always fly Delta to STT (really no other choice) and we have always been on time or early.

We went round and round and round last night about flights. Not fighting, just debating until the laptop battery ran out.
Mr. Hasn't Travelled in Low Season since 2002 refuses to believe that there just aren't as many acceptable options available as in winter.
We still haven't decided...

Why? Volcanic activity?

Or just due to summer weather?
Because it's me. No other reason needed. the gods hate me when it comes to air travel...and hotel stays...and house rentals...and midgets

We also took that same route last Oct and had about 45 minutes and it was no problem. We are on the same flights again for our June 2nd trip. This time it is with the kids and we have about 1hr. I will agree with Gromit though about Delta changing things up. Last time they swtiched our gate but luckily for us it was only a couple of gates down.
Have a great trip!
