I did Roseland Park as a kid... can I get in on the group hug?

Yes Victor and Shortsville are right next door! I actually grew up a little further south of where I live now (only 7 or 8 miles!!) and that put us in the Naples school district. Ahh yes a big trip to the city of Canandaigua - about the only place where there is stuff going on around here! And of course there is a Wegmans!!! And Roseland? Oh yes many, many wonderful memories of going there as a kid - wish it was still there - that was a wonderful place!

Scubagirl, I hope you have a big boat because lots of us are going to want some of that salad!
We like steaks and chicken on the grill and some of my fave marinades are from on island. For chicken I like Valley Doll hot sauce (bought it at Shipwreck Landing.) For steaks (and all kinds of other stuff) I love Cruz Bay Grill Rub and the recipe on the bottle: rub + lime juice + soy sauce + olive oil. My whole family loves this. (My jar of spice is nearly empty -- I better look into ordering some more!)
We make enough meat for dinner so we have leftovers for our picnic lunch the next day: slice the meat thin and roll it into wraps with lettuce and tomato.

Hey ScubaGirl!! Why don't yu post the recipe for our friends here on the forum? I think I remember MOST of what was in it, but I don't want to leave anything out. That taco salad was GENIUS!!
