It's the parent gene kicking in. Before kids I was the happy go lucky guy who stayed out all night, slept until noon and never planned things ahead. When my first was born I had recurring nightmares of horrible things happening, startin waking up before the alarm clock and started scheduling things out a year in advence. The kids do it to you. I've seen the most spastic women turn into a calm earth-mother. It's like some kind of switch gets flip-flopped.

Cheers, RickG

Yep, been there.

In my "island dreams", I arrive for vacation but somehow I miss doing all the things I want to do and then it is time to go home and I am like "wait! I didn't see or do anything!". Or, in other dreams, I am back in my home in Philadelphia and I realize that my vacation is over and I kind of missed the whole thing...like "what!? It's over? I didn't know I was there!". Now, that's the sign of some excellent rum drinks - you didn't even realize you were THERE! LOL

Many or my reoccuring dreams have to do with not being able to get to STJ or not being able to find the beach. I have had real good ones too. :)
