Thanks for the nice comments on the report. A couple of comments on a few replies.

First, I did want to mention that, regrettably, we weren't able to squeeze in a couple of my favorite St. John restaurants this trip, just because we wanted to try some new places. I think on every prior trip we've gone to the Lime Inn, and its always good. Another personal favorite that is a bit higher end is La Tapa. Here is a pic of some of our same group after quite an excellent feast at La Tapa on a prior visit (and I must tell you, every time we passed La Tapa I got asked why we weren't going back):



Liamsaunt, it was a dark chocolate souffle at Tage (with extra cream spooned on at the table), but maybe they'd make that white chocolate souffle for you.

As to the safety issue, I personally did not feel unsafe at any time, but thats just me. I really don't feel qualified to comment on what the waiter was saying. I parked in the St. John Car Rental lot, near Beach Bar, which is a great location. SlimMan's lot would also be a good choice---you just have to pay.

Thanks for the 411 on the souffle. Oh well, I'll just have to consider the white chocolate one a fond memory. On the positive side, I'll have more room for the yummy appetizers!

I am SO hungry after reading about all the wonderful food! Great report, can't wait for the next installment. Only 6 more weeks, only 6 more weeks, I can make it....
