our flowers

We are getting married in two weeks. The pricing really is relative to what flowers you are using and the volume. But w/o specifying the type of flower and design, its hard to say if $300 is a good deal.

The total for our flowers was $700. The arrangements are primarily orchids, which I think are more expensive. She will have her bouquet, three bridesmaids with smaller bouquets, my boutonniere, along with three for my guys, two table settings for Zozos, and orchids for our cake.

After hashing all of that out, it doesn't really sound too expensive, but what do I know.

I simply march to my orders ;)

Thanks all for your compliments!

A little more about our wedding and attire...Ann Marie performed our ceremony, we had no one in mind to take photos or video when we booked our trip. A few posts on the forum and conversations at the Beach Bar and we had plenty of offers for assistance! We actually ended up with a couple that was snorkeling in the early morning with their little girl at Hawksnest acting as our video crew and witness.

Our total spent on our attire was about $100. Julies dress came from the clearance rack at Dress Barn ($30), my shirt was on clearance at Sears (of all places) and the pants came from an International Male catalog for about $25. We both had the "BIG WEDDING" for our first time around and planned the destination wedding to avoid all the friends and family making a big production out of something we thought was just about us. Especially after 8 years together.

I guess this is further proof that the backdrop of St. John can make even the simplest of things look beautiful, and you don't need to go overboard with the frills!

Just enjoy your moment and don't worry so much about the details, The island will take care of that!
