We shipped ahead out of necessity, as we checked 5 large boxes of frozen food on the way down (for someone else). It cost an average of $ 150 for two large boxes each way, Priority Mail, Insured with delivery confirmation from Chicago.

Checking the first four boxes on American was free due to my Platinum status but they charged $100 for the 5th.
