Hi there - it was me whose husband proposed to her on Rams Head! It was so great...I am at work right now and don't have the pics but it was perfect. Prior to us going on the trip I was checking out different things to do online. I had read somewhere about the history of Ram's Head and that it became a place for people to throw a stone and make a wish - I can't, for the life of me, remember where I read this. At any rate, my husband said he wanted to do that hike after I told him about it. When we got to the top and took our pics he said throw your rock and make your wish. I did and he took his turn. Afterwards he turned to me and asked what I wished for. I told him I couldn't tell him, but he asked me if I wanted to know what he wished for as he got down on his knee and proceeded to take a little black felt covered box out of his pocket!! It was so awesome and perfect. So, as you can imagine, I would highly recommend that you take your girlfriend up there. She will love it and you will be happy for doing it! Good luck and ENJOY!
