OMG! This thread is the goods! We did buy some neat things at Ruth's shop last June but shamefully none of the foodstufs!

. I plan to WAY rectify that both before and during our next trip! Thanks everyone, I'm practically drooling on my keyboard!!!

This IS a great thread.....I like sauces, but they can't be real hot (no, I'm not a wuss, but the stomach can't take real hot stuff).....what would you recommend? Also I can't wait to get my hands on the pottery...love that stuff and I've decided to treat myself this trip, pick it out and have it shipped home ahead of me!

Too funny, when I read it I thought, "boy this sounds great, but there is NO WAY I could eat this"...darn; of course, maybe I could try and just make sure I have enough beer and rum to cleanse my palate!

BANANA JAM---
it's great on grilled chicken/apple sausages.
Everything in STJ Spice is good though.

I have to add those great martini glasses in Mary Beth's KOJ Martini thread!
It sounds like there's a lot of stuff that I *need* from St. John Spice. If I pick out a bunch of stuff and can't fit it in my bags will you guys ship it to me, Ruth?

I bought some pottery when I was there in November, but is was broken when I got it out of the suitcase. My husband didn't pack it good. I know it was his fault! I'm going to replace it in May and have Ruth ship it. I love those photo albums they have in there also. Think Ill get one for my Mom.

Hi folks! We arrived home late last night and I am reeling with withdrawl, melancholy and associated post St. John re-entry anxiety trauma. I promise a detailed trip report in a day or two but meanwhile I just wanted to say hi to Ruth and Ron and apologize for not making it back in to say hello while you were there. We did, however have a chance to stop in a couple of times after dinner and stock up on our favorite spices, my personal favorites being the Pumpkin Pepper Sauce and the Cruz Bay Grill Rub. What a great new space!
Hey shoppers, don't forget about the great straw handbags! I love them and bought 2 for myself and a couple as gifts. SJS has the prettiest selection I've seen. I'll post a picture of my 2 favorites. Ciao for now!
