SPOILER...

My curiosity was piqued by this thread, so googled the following:
captain cleve's mother st john

I don't want to give anything away, but if you just can't take not knowing, google that, and you should be able to find the answer. Although, anyone who's had his momma's conch fritters has already figured it out.:)

Just wanted to follow up here and reiterate what a great day we had with Capt. Cleve on Local Flavor. I'd emailed him in advance (like days, because I'm such a fabulous procrastinator) and he was very responsive. He let us set our itinerary, made great recommendations, and basically let the four of us ladies do what we wanted all day.

I honestly cannot recommend Cleve enough-- it was a fabulous, fun, relaxing day and even when I tried to practice my very rusty deckhand skills, he did not flinch. What a pro!

being a newbie here but from reading other posts, the only lady I have heard who has the best conch fritters is;
Ms Vie. or am I way off course?

Trying to catch up on all the posts, missed almost a whole week,been sick w/a nasty viral bronchitis and it laid me flat !! Am still very weak and hacking but alot better.

Getting on here again and seeing the pics & reading the posts is great healing..

hee hee, it was hard to keep my "keyboard" shut on this one! His momma did a good job raising him...and now we all know why he loves to fish...if you had his mom to cook it up for you, well...you'd be out there all the time looking for something for the pot.
