The ornament exchange is a pretty cool idea to be apart of but I think donating to a charity is a fantastic idea! Personally, I'm not one to receive Christmas gifts. Not that I don't like them, just that I would rather see what money spent on me be put to a better use by a charity. In the past any grab bag gift or gift exch I was part of, be put towards a pet charity, food bank or even getting a "letter to Santa" at the post office.
