I'm listening right now with my daugher instead of doing my chores out in the ice!
You don't sound dorky! We love Francis Bay too. I could picture the pelicans diving. Francis does have the LARGEST turtle on island.
Cheers, RickG

I just listened and I thought you did great! Sounds like Frank is real easy to talk with. Wish I could be there today - scraping inches of ice here in Northern Virginia.

I do care, Tom. I was honored that Frank asked. I love this board and all the people here and I was proud to speak for all of you.

Hey XislandGirl
Great pod cast. So – got to put a voice to the name – just need to put a face to the voice. According to the calendar, it looks like we’ll just miss each other. But I’m sure that our paths will cross someday.

Hey xisland girl I thought your pod cast was pretty good. Wondering where you stayed on island for five years and why you left? I just returned from my yearly trip to the island. I am also from CT. I am located down on the shore half way between Groton and New Haven. Stayed at the Westin in the villas on the hill. Bought time there about seven years ago. Would love to stay longer every year.

Xislandgirl, John and I just listened to your podcast, you did great! We wonder, though, besides Jumbie, what other beaches did you prefer? I have to say I was suprised by all the beaches you had not visited in your time on island, which of course makes me think you must know some special spots that you of course want to share with your forum friends! Right?

Loved listening to the podcast! You did a great job!
My fingers will be crossed for you to spot your "first" turtle. That first moment is almost too wonderful to put into words. I am smiling a silent smile now as it brings back my first time, as well.
Now, after you've spotted your first turtle - wait til you see your first "spotted eagle ray". If you haven't already seen one - believe me you will be blown away.
Hope to meet up with you someday - either here in New England or on the "ilons"!
