CG, my grill is not big enough for "my buns".

I say no. I wanted all my stuff to match, and because of a rebate I bought ref, dw, oven, and warming drawer all from the same line. But microwave and cooktop I went with different brands for a few reasons (mike info posted earlier - I really like it.) For the cooktop, I really wanted the biggest burners in back, and it seemed like most of them have the big burners in front. I don't understand why, because I don't want to reach around a big pot to stir a small one. Especially for families with kids, I don't think a big pot near the front makes any sense. (I went with an Electrolux cooktop; it has the mega burner in back.)

If everything you have is the same color (all white, all stainless, etc) I think it will look good together. People are mixing granites and cabinet styles in one kitchen, so who knows, maybe mixing appliance finishes is next.

Everything is stainless, and our builder made the suggestions on the appliances, and I never thought about all brands needing to be the same. Obviously, he didn't either, but someone mentioned it here, so I was wondering if it's a big design no-no. They all match to me, just differnt names on the front.

We have a Fisher & Paykel 2 drawer dish washer. I love it. It cleans great, runs quietly and dries the dishes (although occasionally there will be a little puddle on a coffee mug (from St. John Spice!!). We entertain a lot and use the bottom drawer to clean wine glasses and the top for the dishes. We run it on a 'fast' cycle which takes 49 minutes. Tupperware I wash by hand because it gets tossed around in the dishwasher and when I open I find a plastic bowl turned upside down and filled with water. That's a pain but o well. Last year we also bought the Fisher & Paykel washer and dryer. Love these as well. Good luck!
