thanks for all the updates -- just ran out to Walmart and picked a few of the Off clip-ons with refills for good measure.

From Caneel: If you have a bug magnet in your crew, they will find them. For everybody else, not so bad. To control post bite itchiness, the Gromit recommended benedryl topical cream beats hydrocortosone. Off 15% OK for now. Also bring the 30% also just to be safe.

We stopped at Maho this afternoon at about 2:15. We were swarmed by 'skeeters. It looked like they were running a blood bank and taking all available donors. Cinnamon was much better.
The clip-ons last about 12 hours each. Don't forget to bring 2 AA batteries for each refill.
