Flip, thanks for reminding me that I have so much to look forward to with this spit-fire little girl who has taken over my life. :)

My little girl came up to me one day, lifted her shirt, pointed to her belly button and said: "Mama, is this my period?"

True story!
I have a similar innocent little girl story: My daughter came into the bathroom at about age 5, pointed out the tampons and asked "when do I have to do that, again?" I told her it would be a long, long time. She got that lightbulb going off look in her eyes and said "OH I know WHY! LITTLE girls just have to WIPE. They don't have to FLOSS!"
True story.

I remember someone in one of my classes in college did a paper on belly button lint. Apparently this is a phenomenon... kind of like the lost socks in the dryer...

Kind of makes the idea of doing shots from someone elses belly button a little less appealing... but that's just me... 8)

Gromit,

Doing shots out of someone's belly button has never appealed to me - lint or not, that's gross.

had a boyfriend who would play with his belly button when he was anxious or thinking really hard. he would just ease his shirt up and stick his finger in there like there was lost treasure or something.

Almost didn't open this thread, then once I did, I got to wondering how Pete feels about his thread turning into talk about girls and their periods..... Fitting I think.

Pete is very secure in his manhood. He's totally fine with it I'm sure.

No worries. As long as it does not wind its way into a discussion about politics or gay marriage, it's all good.

Periods, belly button lint, giant bugs...Anything is great.. Let's just not re-visit gay marriage, the Bible, etc. I come here for fun...

I guess he could of played with other things that would have been even more disturbing...
