When we were there last month the forecasts started out with 60% everyday and then changed to 30-40% by the time we got there. It sprinkled for 30 min. on one of the days we were there. Being in the tropics, with high humidity, STJ is bound to get some precip. somewhere on the island more regularly than say Boston. I interpret 60% to mean that there is a slightly better than 50-50 chance of someone getting a little wet somewhere on the island. Even if it says 100% chance then it only means that someone will definitely get wet. How wet and for how long is the question.
