Thanks for all the great pics everyone!!
I haven't been to Salamon in a long time and we hiked from town. How easy is it to get to Salamon from Honeymoon? Do you swim to it, or scramble over the rocks? If you want to set up camp with chairs, cooler, etc., swimming would not work.

Cyp - Although you could probably easily swim it, we took the Lind Point trail up through the bushes & trees. It joins up with the Lind Point trail from town and the entrance to the beach is the same as you took before. The trail from Honeymoon isn't as long as the one from town.
This is how it starts out...

and this is what it becomes...

Thanks CG......actually I think I did swim around the rocks from Honeymoom, but I'd like to go there with chairs and all the necessities. When hubby and I did the hike from town, there were a few couples (guys) doing things my husband thought was revolting and he's vowed to never set foot on Soloman again.

Do "they" still "do" that on Soloman? Just want to know what to expect.

Never seen any inappropriate behavior while there. However, only once did we share the beach with anyone else. It's a lot easier to arrive by dinghy than hiking.

Great little story Rick if that beach can't relax ya nothing will. Pure nirvana sittin under one of those palms, sippin a beer, watching the waves lap the beach with your honey by your side. It just doesn't get any better than that
Pickle someone let some water out of the tub that day.
That is a ton of beachfront for Gibney
