WOW!! Best snorkeling report and pics I've seen to date! The disrespect shown to the Dolphin family would have irked me too....but what an amazing experience for you both. Just amazing!

Great report and pics as usual.
I'm wondering........do you have a favorite snorkel spot, besides where you saw the dolphin, of course.

Great report! We saw dolphins at Francis and had the same crowd/freak-out experience. People just lost their minds!!!

Gromit wrote:Becky-- your trip reports are always so wonderful. I swear you could assemble all of the info together and write a book!
(With recipes on the side of course!)
I was thinking the same thing.
Becky, could write a book with TR and food porn and such.....what a big seller. Anthony could even market it here........

I want so much to have the success you have snorkeling. I think it is 'cause I never have a snorkeling pal.
My friend Mary and I did on island and she since has passed away.

I knew it!! I knew it!! I knew it!!

A dolphin encounter is my snorkling dream. I'm so envious. I'll look for them when I'm there in a few days. I would not have been able to contain myself with those horrible people harassing the dolphin. I thought jerks like that weren't allowed on STJ. There should be a law banning them from the island
As always, Becky, you're reports are the best with so much information and detail.

I made everyone I know look at your pictures. Seriously, you could run excursions. Snorkel and Food excursions. Hmm. Let's think of a name for your business...

Thanks so much for not posting the 'abridged' version of your report! I love reading your reports...FABULOUS!!
And seriously...you have the best Snorkeling Karma of anyone on the planet. I will PAY you to let me follow you around. I promise to linger in the back, be very quiet, and just enjoy the dolphin, octopus, eagle rays, etc.
But I might beat up the jerks that try to touch the dolphin. Hope that's ok!

I'm with you sun4mysoul...I would have had a problem containing myself with those dolphin touchers..

what a wonderful report! and the dolphin encounter--how cool!
I know what you mean about idiots though--I was at francis and there was a huge hawksbill and this family of idiots just started chasing it and trying to CATCH it!
ugh......
